Plickers for Success: A Technological Tool for Advancement in Data Collection

A few weeks ago I read this article in the Journal of Extension…and was blown away at the thought that this might just be the perfect tool to make collecting evaluations on our issue teams easier!  So join me on March 12th at 10:00 AM CT at https://nebraskaextension.zoom.us/j/583999580.  So I emailed Casey in Georgia and discovered Chasity Tompkins…the graduate assistant who was the lead on this article.  Chasity will be serving as our clinician for the Plickers for Success webinar on NGE.

Youth and adults face data assessment burnout when administering the same paper-based survey multiple times. One tool Extension educators can use to increase learners’ active engagement with program content and gather formative assessment data in real time is Plickers, a free online audience response system used for collecting data from groups. In this webinar, participants will learn how to set up classes, add participants, build and implement surveys, and export data through the use of a smart device.
