Generation Nice

I recently came across this article in The New York Times about the Millennial Generation. The article addresses some of the common misconceptions about Millennials and how this generation is shaping our society. I think this is something to consider when discussing the future of Extension not only in terms of hiring, but also in relationship to employment expectations. The article states that this generation has “embraced its own modes of entrepreneurship, found across the broad spectrum of ‘creatives,’ from stylists to techies, who reject the presumed security of the corporate job and riskily pursue their own ventures, even if it means working out of their parents’ basement”. Talk about innovative thinkers!! So, how is Extension embracing the Millennial spirit to promote innovation and drive?
